WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Voters across Florida headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in the 2026 Primary Election, deciding key races that will shape November’s general election and local governments across the state.

In South Florida and the Treasure Coast, voters are weighing in on several closely watched contests, including races for county and municipal offices.

CBS12 News is tracking election results across Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties as votes are counted.

Results will be updated throughout election night as they are reported by election officials.

Some races could be decided Tuesday night, while others may advance to the November general election depending on the candidates, contest and results.

Polls closed at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
