Tuesday, 8:51 p.m. WCTV calls Tallahassee City Commission Seat 5 race, Runoff between Dot Inman-Johnson and Dianne Williams-Cox
Incumbent Dianne Williams-Cox and former Tallahassee Mayor Dot Inman-Johnson are headed for a runoff in November in the race for City Commission Seat 5.
Candidate Tifany Hill had the fewest votes out of the three candidates as of Tuesday night.

Representative Angie Nixon secured the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate, according to the Associated Press.
Nixon defeated opponent Alex Vindman in a tight race.

Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. Polls close across Florida
Polls across Florida are now closed. Leon County saw record turnout on Tuesday with 37.16% of voters casting their ballots. Leon County Supervisor of Elections Mark Earley says things went smoothly on Tuesday. “Heavy turnout, which is great, especially for a primary,” Earley said.
