A Nevada-based airline is expanding its spring flight schedule with nine new nonstop routes, including two seasonal routes out of Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
Allegiant Air, marketed to travelers as an ultra-low-cost airline, announced the latest additions to its service Monday.
Seven of the nine routes are “hyper-seasonal,” meant to meet peak spring travel demand during key vacation dates, including spring break.
For Broward residents, the expansion adds two new nonstop options from South Florida’s second-largest airport. According to FLL data from May, Allegiant sits at the No. 7 spot of the airport’s top 10 carriers, with 4.5% of total passenger share.
The first route plans to connect Fort Lauderdale with Providence, Rhode Island, beginning Feb. 13, 2027. Flights are scheduled to operate through April 24, 2027.
The second will connect FLL with Portsmouth, New Hampshire, beginning Feb. 20, 2027, and plans to operate through May 1, 2027.
