Miami University’s new and expanded multi-use recreation fields at Millett South Lawn and at the Chestnut Recreation Fields are now open for students.
Miami invested about $13 million in the summer project to expand and upgrade the fields at the north and south ends of campus.
More amenities for students in the Millett South Lawn area will open soon: New pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts are scheduled to open Sept. 3; a dog park, an area with exercise equipment, and walking paths will open around Oct. 1.
