Central Florida will be under another Heat Advisory this afternoon, although scattered storms are also expected.

The Heat Advisory applies to Lake, Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Brevard, Osceola, Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin, and Okeechobee Counties. Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort are within Orange and Osceola.
The Heat Advisory will be in effect this afternoon and early evening with impacts greatest from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET.

The heat index (feels-like temperatures) today will be 108°F to 112°F. The actual high temps will be in the mid 90°s with widespread moderate to major heat risk.
Friday is expected to be only a few degrees cooler.

Storms this afternoon and evening will be capable of strong wind gusts up to 55 mph. There may also be frequent lightning, which could lead to the closure of many attractions at the theme parks.
Stay hydrated, wear light clothing, take frequent breaks in the AC and shade, and don’t leave kids or pets in unattended vehicles.
