Annual job fair set for Aug. 25 in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE — Job seekers will have an opportunity to meet with about 40 local employers during the 10th annual Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Central Baptist Church Gym, 1909 E. Rusk St.
Employers representing industries including manufacturing, health care and law enforcement are expected to attend. Some employers will be available to discuss open positions and interview qualified candidates.
Job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes, dress appropriately for potential interviews and be prepared to discuss their skills and experience.
The event is sponsored by the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, Jacksonville Economic Development Corp. and Workforce Solutions East Texas.
