A crash claimed the life of a local woman Thursday evening after she was struck while crossing Southeast Port St. Lucie Boulevard and Southeast Wald Street in an area without a crosswalk or traffic signal.Stay up to date: The latest headlines and weather from WPBF 25According to the Port St. Lucie Police Department, the incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Nov. 6. The victim, 52-year-old Lizzie Ricano-Bornot, was hit by two vehicles traveling in the same lane, one driven by a woman, the other by a man.Ricano-Bornot was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers stayed and cooperated with police. Alcohol and speed are not believed to be factors. According to the Port St. Lucie Police Department, the incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Nov. 6. The victim, 52-year-old Lizzie Ricano-Bornot, was hit by two vehicles traveling in the same lane, one driven by a woman, the other by a man.
