HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Two people were arrested Thursday morning after a search warrant led to the discovery of several illegal drugs.

According to a Motion for Pretrial Detention, Hillsborough County deputies conducted a search warrant on a home on McAdam Place in Tampa at 11:49 a.m.

Before the warrant was executed, law enforcement conducted surveillance and spotted the suspect, London Reyes, 46, leaving the home’s garage and heading to the mailbox, where he was detained.

While searching the home, deputies found the following in Reyes’ bedroom:

Clear plastic bag containing 25.5 grams of methamphetamine

Clear plastic bag containing 20.8 grams of cocaine

Clear plastic bag containing 6.1 grams of cocaine

Clear plastic bag containing 5.4 grams of fentanyl

Clear plastic bag containing .5 grams of fentanyl

Clear plastic bag containing eight grams of fentanyl

Eight milligrams of Buprenorphine

Black plastic container containing high-THC cannabis

Four bottles of Buprenorphine

Three Buprenorphine orange pills

Blue vape with sativa resin

Numerous small individual plastic bags with a scale.

Reyes was arrested on nearly a dozen drug possession and trafficking charges. He was also charged with being a felon in possession of ammunition.

Deputies ran a criminal history of Reyes and confirmed he was a multi-time convicted felon, with his most recent conviction being in November 2023 for possessing drug paraphernalia

A second man, identified as Michael Caballero, 37, was also arrested at the home after deputies discovered he had fentanyl and other narcotics.

He faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, possession of less than 20 grams of cannabis, and possession of drugs without a prescription.
