City of Miami Police detectives are now searching for a subject allegedly connected to a homicide investigation after a police pursuit led to the capture of 3 individuals.
The incident happened on Friday evening near Northwest 8th Avenue and 85th Street in Northwest Miami-Dade.
Miami Police officials said that officers tried to perform a traffic stop on a car with four people inside, but the driver refused to stop.
The car was eventually found abandoned, with all four people inside escaping, causing K-9 units and a helicopter to join the search.
Officers worked with the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office to create a perimeter around the area, leading to the capture of three subjects, according to Miami Police officials.
The whereabouts of the fourth person are still unknown.
