U.S. News & World Report released its list for 2026-27 Best Florida High School rankings, and 16 Treasure Coast high schools were featured.
U.S. News ranked almost 18,000 public high schools across the country, 1,267 of which are in Florida. Charter and magnet schools were included in the ranking, but private schools were not ranked because of limited access to data, according to the report.
The rankings are based on four aspects of school performance:
The performance of all students on state assessments in reading and mathematics
The performance of historically underserved student subgroups on those state assessments
The school’s graduation rate
The degree to which the high school prepares students for college
Many schools were not ranked, here is a list of the public high schools on the Treasure Coast that were featured in the ranking.
