(WSVN) – A man has been taken into custody after he’s accused of stealing from a jewelry store.
Surveillance video captured Dezmone Johnson checking out several gold chains at the store in Jensen Beach.
Without warning, authorities said he snatched one of the chains, that’s worth more than $22,000, and left the store.
Police said Johnson was later seen inside a Lauderhill pawn shop trying to sell the chain. Not long after, he was arrested.
He faces charges of robbery and grand theft.
