A Florida woman was arrested after an alleged assault on an elementary school teacher and the principal at a Daytona Beach school. According to an arrest affidavit viewed by National Enquirer, Lynesia Dorsey tried to enter the Daytona Beach school on Thursday, August 13, in a reported Florida teacher assault, for her child’s backpack. Per the affidavit, after she was told no parents were allowed inside, a confrontation occurred in the front office. A school resource officer helped restrain Dorsey after the teacher and principal were struck. Police cited surveillance video as supporting the teachers’ account. Injuries were recorded, and Dorsey was charged with battery on a school board employee; she was released on $5,000 bond with a court date of September 8.
