TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – With college students now back in town, the streets are busy again, and businesses in the Collegetown area say they’re starting to feel that “boost” again.
Isabella’s Pizzeria in Collegetown says this summer, with construction on Gaines Street and fewer students in town, they saw a real dip in business compared to previous years.
But now that students are back, they’re ready for business to pick back up.

The manager, Elvaro Jimenez, says they’re happy to have students back in town and are looking forward to more business going forward.
“It’s without saying, without the students there would be no Isabella’s. You know we have to; we count on the students coming and buying our pizza. The students are an essential key of this business; you know, being open, without the students, there is no way in this area that we are; it is key, it is essential,” Jimenez said.
