Two months removed from the previous Village Council meeting, discussion items on a development project at 303 Galen Drive and an update to the Village-wide Community Code of Conduct, highlight a packed agenda Tuesday night in the Village Chambers.
The public is welcome and the meeting will be shown live on VKB-TV starting at 6:30 p.m.
Among the resolutions on the consent agenda is one calling for the Village to enter an agreement with FIU’s Board of Trustees for a coastal subsurface groundwater monitoring program on Village property and another to issue a work order to Moffatt & Nichol Inc., relating to the beach re-nourishment project in an amount not to exceed $235,559.25.
Yet another calls for the selection of FloTech Environmental, LLC for the stormwater CCTV inspection and data collection, not to exceed $284,858.
A resolution later in the meeting calls for the approval of a site plan for a stormwater pump station and backup generator to be located at the northwest area of Beach Park.
There also will be updates to swale regulations and compliance; the streetlight situation; and a new Community Code of Conduct.
Board Chair Robert Duzoglou will provide an update from the Education Advisory Board.
Among the special presentations: recognizing the Key Biscayne girls u-13 soccer state champions, and another proclamation by Mayor Joe Rasco recognizing the 30th anniversary of the Academy of Martial Arts.
