MetroLagoons is celebrating the unofficial end of summer with its Labor Day Bash on Sept. 5-7, bringing three days of water, sun and family-friendly fun to its four lagoons.
With acres of clear blue water surrounded by sandy beaches, MetroLagoons offers plenty of ways for guests to unwind, beat the heat and spend the long holiday weekend outdoors. Throughout the Labor Day Bash, guests can swim, paddleboard, kayak, tackle floating obstacle courses or simply relax by the water, while also enjoying food and drink specials, live entertainment and a lineup of themed activities.
For guests looking to get in on the action, LED Game Night at Epperson Lagoon will feature glow-in-the-dark fun with games including air hockey, foosball, Pop-A-Shot basketball, ping pong, cornhole, giant checkers, arcade games and more. At select lagoons, foam parties will transform The Hub into a frothy celebration for guests of all ages or feature activities such as cornhole tournaments, water wars, yard games, mobile golf simulators and more. Guests can also enjoy live entertainment at each location throughout the weekend.
Onsite food trucks will be serving up classics, including hot dogs, pizza, burgers and chicken tenders, while MetroLagoons’ full-service swim-up bar offers buckets and draft beers on tap, tropical cocktails such as the Blue Lagoon and Lagoon Sunrise, and refreshing zero-proof cocktails. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy $2 off burger and hot dog meals, as well as $2 off draft beer.
“Labor Day weekend is all about making the most of those final days of summer, and MetroLagoons gives guests a place to cool off, relax and have some fun all in one destination,” said David Heaton, vice president of operations at MetroLagoons. “From refreshing blue waters and sandy beaches to family-friendly water activities, live entertainment, drinks and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
