A new episode of Walt Disney Imagineering’s “Pardon Our Pixie Dust” highlights the installation of giant otter figures at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.
Otter Springs at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge
The otters are part of Otter Springs in The Wetlands pool area. This space will be a water play area for kids featuring slides on the two otters.
According to “Pardon Our Pixie Dust,” the otters are named Addy and Bonnie. Addy, who lies on her back with a blue slide, was installed during filming.

Though the figures are made to look like wood, they are actually made of fiberglass reinforced plastic panels. Addy holds a giant scallop in her paws.
We saw these otters last week in our previous resort update.
