Florida has a state bird (mockingbird) and a state tree (sabal palm) and a state (horse conch), to name just a few of the the official symbols of the Sunshine State is known for. You can see them all here.
But when it comes to beer, there no such thing as a state beer of Florida.
But recently the team at Innerbody Research has perhaps brought some clarity to what at least is considered the most popular beer to drink in Florida. Innerbody Research focuses on providing information about body, health, and the best options to achieve health goals.
In a press release, Innerbody Research said it analyzed national search data to uncover America’s favorite beers, regional drinking divides, and the states that love beer the most. The report, along with listing favorite beers in every state, showed Florida ranks No. 24 among the most beer-loving states in the U.S.

Michelob Ultra is America’s favorite beer — and wins three states. The light lager takes the top national ranking while also leading Alabama, Nevada, and Oklahoma.
Stella Artois wins more states than any other beer. The Belgian lager claims the top spot in 12 jurisdictions: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
America keeps it light. Michelob Ultra may be America’s favorite beer, but it isn’t alone. Bud Light, Coors Light, Busch Light, and Miller Lite all finish in the top eight, while Bud Light also leads the way in Kansas, Arkansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Mississippi, and West Virginia.
Wisconsin is still America’s beer capital. For the second time in a row, the Badger State tops our rankings, proving that cheese may be famous there, but beer still does plenty of the heavy lifting.
Colorado’s brewing influence extends well beyond its borders. Not only does Fat Tire win at home, but Coors claims New Mexico, Coors Light tops North Dakota, Blue Moon wins Alaska and Utah, and Keystone brands spread across the Great Plains.
Maine picks Pacifico. The Mexican lager somehow found a fan club on the Atlantic coast.
Some states never abandon their hometown favorites. Colorado chooses Fat Tire, Washington picks Rainier, Massachusetts sticks with Samuel Adams, Missouri favors Budweiser, and Wisconsin toasts Miller Lite. National brands may dominate store shelves, but local favorites still know how to defend home turf.
