BIG ARTS is partnering with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation to present a special commemorative event honoring the 25th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed by that day.
Sanibel Councilman John Henshaw will serve as keynote speaker, drawing on his firsthand experience at Ground Zero, where he served as Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA. He is a volunteer speaker for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation 9/11 Institute, teaching students and adults about the events of Sept. 11, 2001. His talk will offer a personal perspective on the response efforts and their lasting impact, followed by an audience Q&A.
