(Miami Beach, FL) – Miami Beach Botanical Garden is going global competing in the 2026 International Waterlily Weigh-Off.
The Miami Beach heavyweight division entrant measures 41-inches and comes in at 85.9 pounds.
The weight is determined by how many pounds of oolitic limestone it takes to sink the massive lily pad.
The lightweight entrant is 15 inches wide and weighs 1.357 pounds determined by displacing koi fish food packets.
