A new season is here for North Dakota State football and the Bison Video Blog returns for its 16th season.
The Forum’s Jeff Kolpack and WDAY-TV’s Dom Izzo will be here every Wednesday throughout the football season to look ahead to the week’s game and the other headlines around the Mountain West Conference.
Jacksonville State tees off the FBS era for North Dakota State and brings an impressive FBS resume with them to Fargo. The Gamecocks made the move to the upper division in 2023 and all they have done since is win 27 games over that time span. Jax State has made three bowl games, winning two of them, clinching the 2024 Conference USA title in the process.
Charles Kelly is in his second year as head coach, a longtime assistant at Power Four programs, he guided the Gamecocks to a 9-5 record in his debut season. Kelly has coached in Fargo before, he was an assistant on the Nicholls State staff that came to the Fargodome in 2005, a 26-13 NDSU win.
The guys preview the matchup with Jax State and also discuss the other games in the Mountain West, including a high-profile game between Memphis and UNLV.
