A new resource is now available for people who want to learn new tech like 3D printing or build their career skills. The Orange County Innovation Center opened this summer, offering classes, labs and more for local residents.

Through the Orange County Library System, visitors will have access to a makerspace with 3D printers and laser engravers, and they can attend workshops on fiber arts and other topics. Facilities include photo and video studios, podcast recording, a robotics lab and more.

The County has also partnered with CareerSource Central Florida. According to a County press release, the CareerSource “will connect residents to immersive career exploration opportunities, STEM-focused camps, innovative workforce readiness training, and occupational upskilling programs that prepare participants for high-demand careers.”
