Nightmare Fuel: Blood Noir is a new version of the recurring stunt stage show at Halloween Horror Nights in Universal Studios Florida. Sword swallower Auzzy Blood is featured in this year’s show.

Embark on a dark musical journey and resist temptation as death-defying stunts lure you deeper into a vampire-ridden metropolis.
Night falls in a noir-style city and a narrator introduces an angelic protagonist. She’s nearly attacked by a vampire when fire-wielding figures (vampire hunters) appear. The protagonist and another human take refuge with the vampires, who dance to Lady Gaga’s “Teeth,” some spinning from a chandelier.
In a separate scene, one of the vampire hunters is seen attacking someone with a wooden stake. Meanwhile, the protagonist realizes she might be in danger and dodges vampires performing parkour and trampoline stunts.
But the first vampire who she met protects her. They dance together to Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” performing impressive lifts. The dance ends when he bites her.
The hunters prepare to strike. They perform a series of fire tricks to Billy Idol’s “Rebel Yell.”
A vampire they’re holding captive (Auzzy Blood) frees himself from his chains to a snippet of “I’m Going Slightly Mad” by Queen. He swallows some of the hunter weaponry. A hunter catches him and tries to stake him, but he manages to bite her.
The vampires torture the other human, who dances from chains in the air. The protagonist tries to resist her new lust for blood but ultimately joins in on killing and eating the human.
The protagonist performs an aerial silk number as the other vampires dance on the floor to Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box.”
Then the other vampires cage the protagonist. The Vampire Queen is lifted into the air with her, and the two dance (or fight for dominance) to Simon’s “Down.”
The hunters arrive wielding fire. They battle the vampires but lose after Auzzy Blood’s character manages to steal one of their weapons.
The Vampire Queen and protagonist fight again. The protagonist’s lover hands her a stake and she successfully kills the queen.
The narrator is revealed to be a winged demon, silhouetted in one of the set’s windows. He laughs as he says, “In this city, the nightmare continues, and only death can wake the dreamer.” All the performers return to the stage for a final number, reprising many stunts.

See the show in the former Fear Factor theater next to Men in Black: Alien Attack. It’s performed at 8 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 11 p.m., and 12:30 a.m.
