Mario Cristobal returned to his alma mater because he believed he could help Miami return to its rightful place atop college football. In his fourth season at the helm, Cristobal came close to doing just that. The Hurricanes made it all the way to the national championship game before losing to Indiana. The ‘Canes are definitely “back” to national prominence.
