TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Leon County high school students are being invited to help mark a major milestone for the Tallahassee Police Department by turning history into art.
TPD’s Community Relations Unit is launching the “Here For You” Youth Art Contest to celebrate the department’s 200th anniversary. The contest is open to Leon County public and private high school students in grades nine through 12.
Students are asked to create original artwork that represents or depicts TPD’s 200th anniversary. Submissions may include drawings, paintings or photographs.
The submission deadline is Monday, Nov. 2, 2026. Artwork must be no smaller than 8 inches by 10 inches and no larger than 16 inches by 20 inches. Submissions are limited to one per student.
