In honor of International Coastal Cleanup month, Keep Orlando Beautiful is hosting five lake cleanups across the city this September.
Saturday, Sept. 5, 9 – 11 a.m. at George Barker Park/Clear Lake Park, 1820 W. Gore St.
Tuesday, Sept. 15, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Lake Sunset neighborhood, 2000 Jacobs Place.
Friday, Sept. 18, 9 – 11 a.m. at Lake Eola, 512 E. Washington St.
Saturday, Sept. 19, 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. at Lake Fran (back access road), 4780 Raleigh St.
Thursday, Sept. 24, 9 – 11 a.m. at Colonel Joe Kittinger Park, 305 S. Crystal Lake Dr.
Upon arrival, look for the Keep Orlando Beautiful sign-in table. Cleanup supplies will be provided. Be sure to wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty. And bring a refillable water bottle to take advantage of the water provided.
