According to official documents, Chyvonne Juanita Palmer, 43, of North Miami, “suddenly stood up” and approached the victim, who was a teenage boy wearing a yarmulke and sitting on the opposite side of the Starbucks seating area, “and began screaming and yelling at him.”

Palmer hit the teen twice with a cellphone and returned to her seat, but she got back up and tried hitting him again, this time with a metal chair, according to her arrest report.

According to authorities, a witness told officers that Palmer tried to strike the victim and “repeatedly shouted ‘I hate them.’”

She was subsequently charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon with prejudice and disorderly conduct.
