Flock cameras will be removed from state roads in Florida
The Florida Department of Transportation has announced that automated license plate readers will be removed from state roads until further notice, however, municipal police departments will be allowed to use flock cameras on city and county roads. This technology has raised concerns involving citizens privacy regarding officers accessing the database for unconstitutional actions. Businesses and HOAs are permitted to keep their flock cameras.

Animal advocates use field cameras to monitor Florida wildlife
For three years animal advocates have monitored wildlife data to 160 field cameras.WMNF’s Megan Fair has more on the partnerhsip between Zoo Tampa and fStop foundation to build the first highway overpass in floirda dedicated to the safety of wildlife in the area.
