Former UCF center Tacko Fall has reportedly signed a training camp contract with the Philadelphia Sixers.
According to various reports out of Philadelphia, it’s an Exhibit 10 contract, essentially a non-guaranteed deal used to bring players into training camp. The Sixers can convert an Exhibit 10 contract into a two-way contract, which allows players to go between the NBA and the G League for up to 50 games.
If Philadelphia chooses not to sign Fall to a two-way deal and waives him, he then spends at least 60 days with the team’s G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, while earning a bonus worth up to $91,000 this season.
Fall, 30, recently played basketball overseas, averaging 11.2 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in 18 minutes per game with the Ningbo Rockets (2025-26), Nanjing Tongxi Monkey King (2024-25), New Zealand Breakers (2024-25), Nanjing Tongxi Monkey King (2023-24) and Xinjiang Guanghui (2022-23).
The 7-foot-6 Fall spent four seasons at UCF, averaging 10.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 115 games at UCF from 2015-18. He was named American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and in 2018, Fall helped the Knights earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament, where the team advanced to the second round before losing to top-seeded Duke 77-76.
The Senegal native went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft, but signed with the Boston Celtics and participated on the team’s Summer League roster. Fall eventually signed a two-way contract that saw him split time with the Celtics and their G League team, the Maine Red Claws.
He made his NBA debut on Oct. 26, 2019, scoring four points and three rebounds in limited minutes.
Fall spent two seasons with the Celtics organization before signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he appeared in 11 games while splitting time with the organization’s G League team, Cleveland Charge.
In 2022, he signed with the Xinjiang Flying Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association before moving to the Nanjing Monkey Kings the following year.
Fall averaged 2.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 0.8 blocks and 6.2 minutes in 37 games over three seasons in the NBA.
