FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A 16-time convicted felon was arrested after a narcotics-related search warrant in Fort Pierce.
A narcotics-related search warrant executed by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division (SID), with support from the SWAT Team, led to the arrest of a 49-year-old Fort Pierce man on November 7.
The operation took place near 2000 Oleander Boulevard, where detectives recovered:
Around 20 grams of cocaineAround 7.5 grams of marijuanaDrug paraphernalia including a scale and packaging materialsA .380 caliber handgun and an additional magazine

The suspect, Antonio Tyrone McArthur, a 16-time convicted felon, was taken into custody and faces:
Possession of cocainePossession with intent to sell or deliver cocainePossession of 20 grams or less of cannabisPossession of a firearm by a convicted felon
McArthur is currently being held at the St. Lucie County Jail.
“This operation is part of the Sheriff’s Office’s continued efforts to target illegal narcotics activity and enhance public safety throughout St. Lucie County,” the Sheriff’s Office stated.
