FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A narcotics investigation led to the arrest of a convicted felon after detectives say they found 33 pounds of marijuana, more than $150,000 in cash, and multiple firearms at a Fort Pierce home.
St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Division detectives, assisted by the agency’s SWAT Team and the U.S. Marshals Service, executed a narcotics-related search warrant Wednesday morning at a residence in the 700 block of Cedar Place.
Investigators arrested 59-year-old Stacy Tyrner of Fort Pierce without incident.
During the search, detectives seized approximately 33 pounds of marijuana and more than $150,000 in cash, along with multiple firearms.
Investigators also found boxes of ammunition matching the calibers of the firearms, additional gun parts and components, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, a currency counter, and other items they say were consistent with the sale and distribution of narcotics.
According to the sheriff’s office, Tyrner is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms.

“Drugs destroy lives and fuel crime, and we will not allow criminals to profit from that destruction,” Sheriff Richard Del Toro said.
Del Toro praised the Special Investigations Division, SWAT Team, and U.S. Marshals Service for their work in removing what he described as drugs, illegal firearms, and illicit cash from the community.
“This is another step toward our goal of making St. Lucie County the safest county in Florida,” Del Toro said.
