JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (KATV) — Downtown Jacksonville is gearing up for one of its biggest days of the year, with Festivlle set to bring a full day of music, food and family fun — and the best part is, it’s free to get in.
Festiville is happening this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in downtown Jacksonville. Emily Stoneciper, events and marketing manager for the city of Jacksonville, and Kiaera Williams, events and marketing coordinator for city of Jacksonville, stopped by to talk about the event.
They say the event will feature vendor setups, live music throughout the day, food trucks, rides, games, bingo and a new mini golf course.
“We will have vendor set up, live music throughout the day, plenty of food trucks, rides, games,” Emily said. “We’ll have bingo games throughout the day. We’ve got a new mini golf course we’ve got set up.”
Live music is scheduled all day, with Ryan Daniel set to headline at 6 p.m. Other performers include Hayfield, Midnight South, Jupiter’s Flytrap and Tonya Anderson.
Food options will include a mix of trucks and sweet treats, including a Mexican food truck, Kingdom Made Treats, Bragg’s Big Bites and Doughnut Envy.
Organizers say Festiville is designed to be a community-wide celebration, with local groups helping make it happen each year. Kiaera said Jacksonville firefighters take part with a junior firefighter challenge, and the school district helps by having students volunteer.
“Festiville is great for our community,” Kiaera said. “And so it’s just a great way to show community pride for Jacksonville.”

Parking is free, and organizers say there are plenty of lots around downtown, though visitors should plan to park wherever they can find a spot.
