Saturday rain
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida today, with the greatest coverage likely across Northeast Florida. The overall setup does not favor widespread severe weather, but a few storms could produce gusty winds or minor flooding, especially where sea-breezes collide.
Temperatures will reach the low 90s for most locations, with a few mid-90s possible inland across Georgia where clouds and storms are less common.
Tonight, a few showers moving in from the Gulf could reach areas near the I-75 corridor, while most daytime storms fade by around 10 p.m. Overnight lows will settle into the mid-70s.
