STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — A 76-year-old man was hospitalized following a crash involving a golf cart and a tractor in Stuart, according to first responders.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office and Martin County Fire Rescue responded to the scene along Tropical Way in the Tropical Farms community. Authorities said the driver was ejected from the golf cart after striking the back of the tractor.

The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
