TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Those looking for a place to watch the Florida State football game Monday and want to bring a furry friend can check out Dog Haus in Tallahassee holding its grand opening.
It’s a one-of-a-kind concept in Tallahassee combining a dog park, beer and coffee all in one place.
Co-founder Travis Ismir had this idea for more than a decade, and it’s been in the works for the past four years.
Ismir says the goal is to create a social hangout for people, whether they have a pet or not.
“This is a space every city needs. It really does just bring community together and that’s a big part of what we want to do here,” Ismir said.

“This really is the only place in Tallahassee where you can bring your dog, you can let them off leash and run around and play and order beer, drink some coffee and socialize while your dog does the same.”
Dog Haus is located at 495 Blair Stone Road. They’ll be open Monday at 8 a.m. and stay open through the end of the Florida State and SMU game.
Entry for pets and pet owners will be membership-based; you can purchase a yearly, monthly, or day pass. If you don’t have a dog or you’re just coming with friends, it is free.
