Fort Lauderdale, FL – YouTuber Jack Doherty is facing a domestic battery charge following an alleged dispute at a Fort Lauderdale residence.
Doherty, 22, was arrested Friday after officers responded to a home in the 1400 block of Southwest Fifth Court, according to Fort Lauderdale police and Broward County records.
Officers arrived at approximately 11:56 a.m. after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance.
Police said Doherty and an unidentified woman allegedly became involved in a physical dispute inside the residence.
Authorities reported that the woman was not injured.
Police have not released her name or provided information about her relationship with Doherty.
Doherty was taken into custody on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge and booked into the Broward County Main Jail.
During a court appearance, a magistrate found probable cause and set Doherty’s bond at $1,000.
The judge also ordered him to have no contact with the alleged victim. Court records indicate that he retained an attorney.
The charge is an allegation, and Doherty has not been convicted in the case.
A person close to Doherty told TMZ that he acted in self-defense. Police have not confirmed that account.
Doherty has nearly 15 million YouTube subscribers and is known for publishing prank videos and stunts.
Miami Beach police previously arrested Doherty in November 2025 after officers allegedly found him recording content in a roadway and refusing commands to move.
Officers reported finding part of a pill consistent with amphetamine and approximately four grams of suspected marijuana.
He faced drug possession and resisting charges, which were later dismissed after he completed a pretrial diversion program.
Doherty’s domestic battery case remains pending.
