Good morning!
We are tracking another warm, breezy and unsettled stretch across Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. Highs will stay close to 89 to 91 degrees through the week, with a northeast to easterly breeze at times, especially near the coast.
Rain and storm chances will be around 40% today, with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing mainly after the morning hours. Wednesday brings a similar setup with a better chance for afternoon storms, then rain chances ramp up Thursday into Friday as moisture increases. Thursday looks like the wettest day of the week, with showers and storms becoming more likely by the afternoon and evening.
The weekend stays warm and humid with highs near 91 and scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. Keep the umbrella close and stay weather-aware for quick downpours and lightning.
In the tropics, the Atlantic remains quiet. The National Hurricane Center is not expecting tropical cyclone development over the next seven days.
