PALO PINTO COUNTY, Tx. — Firefighters from TFD were deployed to Palo Pinto County, Texas, on Monday to help battle a large brush fire that threatened nearby structures.
TFD personnel responded alongside local departments and supported operations by refilling engines and brush trucks at the scene to help maintain the water supply as crews worked to contain the fire through the night.
Deployed personnel continued supporting response efforts near Possum Kingdom Lake by extinguishing hot spots, assisting foot crews in areas inaccessible to vehicles, and providing 911 coverage for local departments during the busy Labor Day weekend.
