Cape Coral’s continued growth is putting pressure on roads, healthcare and other services as more people move to the city. MoveBuddha ranked Cape Coral third nationally for inbound moving demand this year, with about 1.8 people looking to move there for every one looking to leave. The growth comes as WalletHub ranked Cape Coral the nation’s 13th-best city for retirees, including 14th for affordability and 26th for quality of life. Residents cited increasing traffic as a concern. Lee Health is expanding its presence with a 100,000-square-foot ambulatory facility expected to add healthcare services and employ 100 to 150 people by fall 2027, WINK News reports.
