PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A vehicle fire has shut down all southbound lanes of Florida’s Turnpike in St. Lucie County, according to traffic officials.
The fire was reported southbound beyond Exit 142 at Port St. Lucie Boulevard and before Mile Marker 141, according to FL511.
All lanes are currently closed in the area. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.

The closure was last updated at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
