Prost! Oktoberfest season is here, along with all the festivities it brings. In St. Pete and across Tampa Bay, breweries and community spots are rolling out celebrations over the next month, making it easy to join the fun.
Whether you have a closet full of lederhosen and dirndls or just want an excuse to eat pretzels and drink beer, there’s something for everyone this year. If you’re wondering why we celebrate “Oktober”-fest in September, you aren’t alone. While the event officially ends on the first Sunday in October, festivities start earlier to extend the season. Over time, that starting point has moved up, which is why most of the action now happens in September. Happy festing!

Oktoberfest Weekend at Mastry’s Brewing Company
September 11-13
St. Pete Beach’s beloved brewery is going all out to kick off Oktoberfest season, with three full days of live music, beer specials, German food and plenty more. Oktoberfest with a side of sunsets on the beach is our kind of party.
Oktoberfest at Bayboro Brewing
Friday-Sunday, September 18-20
One of St. Pete’s best breweries is hosting a full weekend beer-fueled celebration with music, a special German food menu, traditional German beers on tap, and fun Bavarian games. If you haven’t tried the food at Bayboro, this is your sign.
Oktoberfest 2026 at St. Pete Brewing Company
Saturday, September 19, 12 pm
The all-day party in Downtown St. Pete kicks off with specialty beer releases, a German-inspired food menu, and stein-holding competitions. On a popular weekend for Oktoberfest events, this is a great spot to kick off (or cap off) the fun.
Oktoberfest at Green Bench Brewing Co.
Saturday, September 19, 12-5 pm
The 5th annual Oktoberfest celebration at Green Bench fills their beer garden with steins full of German beer, German eats by Offset, live Bavarian music, and plenty of competitions and games. Festivities are free to attend.
Oktoberfest Party at 3 Daughters Brewing
Saturday, September 19, 12-11 pm
The annual party at 3 Daughters transforms the brewery into a full out Bavarian extravaganza in honor of Oktoberfest. Enjoy live oompah and polka, specialty beers, games, and all the bratwurst you could ever want, plus Oktoberfest stein specials.
PAWtoberfest
Saturday, September 19, 12 pm
Pinellas Ale Works is hosting its annual dog-inspired Oktoberfest celebration, complete with new beer releases, costume contests, German game competitions, and tons of fun in the beer garden. Saturday is the main event, but the party runs all weekend.
Oktoberfest at Green Turtle Brewery and Public House
Saturday, September 19, 3 pm
St. Pete’s newest brewery is festing for the entire season, with specialty beers, Oktoberfest games on weekends, discounts for those in costume, and more. The highlight is tapping of a specialty wooden keg of Fest Bier from the world’s oldest brewery on the 19th at 3 pm – don’t miss that rare opportunity.
Oktoberfest at Woodwright Brewing Company
September 19 – October 4
The star Dunedin brewery is going all out for the entire Oktoberfest calendar, with more than two full weeks of award-winning German beers, excellent German eats, live performances, games and more. Stop in any time during Oktoberfest season.
German-American Society Oktoberfest
September 25 – October 10
Each Friday and Saturday for three straight weekends, the most authentic Oktoberfest celebration in town features traditional German fare, dances, imported Bavarian beers, and made-from-scratch German delicacies.
Oktoberfest at Grand Central Brewhouse
September 26-27
Enjoy a variety of German-style beers on tap, live Oompah music, dancing, and delicious German street fare and treats. Plus, GCB is the official host location for the US Steinholding Association’s State Championship tournament, taking place over the weekend.
Wheel Haus Oktoberfest
September 28 – October 4
This week-long extravaganza will feature a special menu of German-inspired dishes, traditional German Festbier, and the transformation of The Wheelhouse into an Oktoberfest-style beer tent.
Piertober Fest
Saturday, October 3, 12-10 pm
Piertoberfest brings the spirit of Bavaria to the bay with ice-cold German and local beers, traditional Oktoberfest fare, live music, and festive entertainment all day long. Guests can enjoy stein-holding competitions, polka dancing, games, and plenty of opportunities to don your lederhosen or dirndl.

October 9-11
Named one of the Top 5 Oktoberfest celebrations in the country, this three-day celebration in Tampa’s Curtis Hixon Park is packed full of of great beer, food, dance and much more, all beautifully taking place along the Tampa Riverwalk.
