LONGWOOD, Fla. – Four students were taken into custody after a fight broke out at Lyman High School on Thursday, according to the Longwood Police Department.
News 6 received a tip about the incident, which claimed that a weapon had been found on campus and that several fights erupted on campus.
In response, News 6 reached out to the LPD, which confirmed that there were no weapons — “just a basic fight between students.”
Police further explained that four students were arrested in total, with all of them facing a charge of disorderly conduct.
A district spokesperson also told News 6 that the fight broke out during lunch, though there were no weapons involved.
No additional information has been provided at this time, including what exactly caused the fight or whether there were any injuries.
