For 71 years, the MacArthur family has owned and operated the eclectic landmark restaurant, Harry and the Natives, at the corner of U.S. 1 and Bridge Road in Hobe Sound. Formerly known as the Farm restaurant, it was revamped and renamed by son Harry MacArthur over 30 years ago. The old Florida roadside eatery is a popular destination for locals, seasonal residents and vacationers. The main and out buildings are made of tidewater pecky cypress wood.
