This month, I’m shining the spotlight on Reverie Parfums, a Miami-based inspired fragrance house that doesn’t whisper; it speaks in bold, unforgettable notes. Each creation feels like an emotion bottled, confident, magnetic, and luxuriously intense. Imagine my excitement to find out that they’re local Miamians, just like me.
Reverie may specialize in inspired blends, but the artistry behind them hints at something greater — and I, for one, can’t wait to see their very own original creation one day.
Before diving into the fragrances, I asked the founder a few questions to get a glimpse into the world of Reverie:
JCK: What inspires you to start your perfumery creations?
RF: I’ve always been drawn to aromas. About ten years ago, I discovered essential oils and couldn’t stop learning about them, collecting and studying each one. When I began blending them, I realized something was missing — that’s when I found perfumery. Modern perfumes take it further, blending nature and science into true art.
JCK: What feeling do you hope people associate with the world of Reverie Parfums?
RP: Reverie creations are inspired by luxury perfumes that are beautiful but often too expensive or discontinued. People now call them dupes or impressions, but my goal is to offer affordable alternatives with the same high quality and artistry.
JCK: Would you say Miami has any influence on your approach to perfumery in any way?
RP: Miami’s mix of tropical warmth, lush greenery, and beach vibes inspire many of my creations, especially the more tropical and summer-inspired ones. The city’s energy reminds me that perfumes can be bold, fresh, and effortlessly refined.
