JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 11-year-old boy.
Ryan White Jr. was last seen on Moncrief Road near 35th Street West around 2:40 p.m. Friday, shortly after being dropped off by his school bus.
“Due to his age, we want to make sure he is safe,” the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
Ryan is 5 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing a school uniform — a dark blue polo shirt and khaki pants.
Authorities say Ryan is very familiar with Jacksonville Transportation Authority bus routes, and may use that system to travel.
Anyone who sees Ryan or knows his whereabouts is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500.
“Please share this post so we can spread the word faster,” the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said.
