TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Another mild, muggy evening is on tap across the region, but a blast of cold air is knocking on the door.
Tonight Through Sunday Night
Mostly quiet weather will continue for Saturday night. Low temperatures hover in the low-to-mid-60s under a partly cloudy sky. Some dense fog is possible for late Saturday and early Sunday.
A cold front will march across the Big Bend and South Georgia on Sunday, and this weather system should spark a few more showers and storms. We are not tracking a washout or widespread showers, but hit-or-miss downpours are possible.
Temperatures on Sunday climb into the low-and-mid-80s under a partly sunny sky.
Behind our cold front, we are tracking drier, cooler conditions for Sunday night under a clearing sky. Lows fall into the low-and-mid-40s. Another heads up, we are anticipating a breezy wind for Sunday night.
Coldest Air So Far This Season
A cold, windy day is ahead to start the work week. Highs on Monday only top out in the low-to-mid-50s under a sunny sky. We could see winds gusting to 25 mph at times. Overnight lows tumble into the upper-20s and low-30s. Be sure to protect your outdoor plants.
Another dry, sunny day is on tap for Tuesday. Highs reach the upper-50s and low-60s. Lows fall into the upper-20s and low-30s.
Extended Forecast
This cold snap is pretty brief. We are tracking another warm up for the second half of the work week.
Highs on Wednesday top out in the upper-60s under a mostly sunny sky. Lows settle in the mid-40s.
Dry weather will continue for Thursday. Temperatures reach the mid-70s under a mostly sunny sky. Lows fall into the low-40s.
Friday is looking dry and sunny. Highs stay in the mid-70s, with lows in the upper-30s and low-40s.
