TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Spotty downpours are possible on Saturday, especially for the first half of the day.
Saturday Forecast
Spotty showers are possible to kick off your weekend. We are not anticipating a washout or a widespread rain, but you may see a few showers during the first half of the day.
We should see drier weather and a little more sunshine for the late afternoon and evening. Highs on Saturday top out in the upper-70s and low-80s.
We are mainly dry for Saturday night under a partly to mostly cloudy sky. We stay mild and muggy. Lows settle in the low-to-mid-60s. We could see more dense fog for the overnight.
A Strong Cold Front On The Way
Another cold front is on tap to end the weekend.
Similar to Saturday, our Sunday weather system could spark a few showers, especially during the first half of the day.
However, again, we are not expecting a washout or widespread showers.
Temperatures on Sunday hover in the upper-70s and low-80s. Enjoy the mild weather because big changes are ahead for Sunday night.
Drier, cooler air rushes into the Big Bend and South Georgia during the overnight. Low temperatures fall into the mid-and-low-40s as a breezy wind returns.
Next Week
The coldest air so far this season is on the way for Monday and Tuesday.
We are dry and sunny on Monday. Temperatures only top out in the mid-50s. Another heads up, the wind is looking rather gusty on Monday. Lows tumble into the upper-20s and low-30s.
Another dry, sunny day is ahead for Tuesday. Temperatures reach the low-60s, and lows stay in the upper-20s and low-30s.
We are looking ahead to a warming trend for the second half of next week as our dry spell continues.
Highs on Wednesday climb into the upper-60s, but we could see some mid-70s by Thursday and Friday.
