JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The missing boy has been found safe. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office made the announcement at around 10:56 p.m. and thanked everyone who helped spread the word.
For his privacy, the boy’s name has been removed from the article below.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says that a 11-year-old has been reported missing Friday evening.
JSO said the 11-year-old was last seen on Moncrief Road near 35th Street West at around 2:40 p.m. after being dropped off at his bus stop.
According to JSO, the boy is 5’0″ and 150 lbs, with brown eyes and black hair. The boy was last seen wearing a school uniform: dark blue polo shirt and khaki pants.
The boy is reportedly “very familiar with JTA transportation.”
