A man was struck and killed by a Brightline train in Fort Lauderdale early Tuesday morning, according to police.
Officers found the man just north of the Broward Boulevard crossing around 1:25 a.m., police said. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue paramedics pronounced him dead when they arrived.
Traffic along Broward Boulevard and Southwest Second Street was affected while police investigated, but the road reopened around 3:30 a.m., department spokeswoman Casey Liening said.
Police have not identified the man.
