Carbone in Miami Beach
Handout
Talk about a marriage made in red-sauce heaven.
Dashing chef-restaurateur Mario Carbone just got hitched, so if you see him around town at one of his many hot spots, tell him congrats.
So who’s the lucky bride?
The Major Food Group hospitality giant (Carbone, Sadelle’s, Chareau ZZ’s, Contessa) swapped vows with publicist extraordinaire Cait Bailey.
The photogenic pair, who were reportedly introduced by “Pretty Little Lies” actress Shay Mitchell at the Carbone in Greenwich Village in 2018, first tied the knot Aug. 1, in Palermo, Sicily, where Carbone’s paternal family is from.
We heard “American Idol” breakout star Benson Boone performed while mountains of pasta were served, followed by a nine-tier wedding cake. Pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. of Vous Church, with three locations in the Magic City, officiated.
“His message was deeply personal, grounded in faith and filled with so much warmth and love,” Bailey, 34, told Vogue magazine of the former “Rich in Faith” star. “It moved the entire room and made the ceremony feel even more meaningful.”
The newlyweds then celebrated again in high style Sunday night at the 46-year-old groom’s Grill and the Pool at New York City’s iconic Seagram Building, Page Six reports.
The elite guest list included some of Bailey’s famous clients, including mega influencer. Alix Earle. The UM alum has been a longtime fixture at Carbone Beach, the $3,000 a head supper club/popup on the sand that Carbone has hosted since Formula One zoomed into Hard Rock Stadium in 2022.
Where will the jetsetters settle down?
The couple are actually already settled, splitting their time between Gotham and Miami Beach. In 2022, Carbone bought a five bedroom, 3,422-square-foot refurbished two-story home for roughly $4.3 million on Palm Island.
