BRANDON, Fla. (CBS12) — A traffic stop in Brandon led to the arrest of a Florida woman after deputies spotted 7 grams of fentanyl in her wallet as she dug for her ID.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop shortly before 11:30 a.m. on Thursday near Williams Road and Sarah Louise Drive.

As 52-year-old Katrina Bolduc was getting out her license, deputies reportedly saw a clear plastic bag containing a white powder inside her wallet.

The substance weighed 7.6 grams and tested positive for fentanyl, according to HCSO.

Bolduc was arrested around 12:07 p.m. and booked into jail later that afternoon.

She faces a first-degree felony charge of trafficking in fentanyl between 4 and 14 grams, along with a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
